Mobile web, also known as "WAP" or "Mobile Internet", brings the capability of browsing the Internet to your phone or mobile device. This allows you access to content and information you find important while you are away from your desk. Mobile web capabilities can differ based on the phone and carrier. Generally, most carriers and phones offer some kind of mobile web service.
Can I access the mobile web from anywhere?  Top
Access to the mobile web is limited to the coverage area of your carrier. Consult your carrier's coverage map for limitations on service.
How can I access the mobile web from my cell phone?  Top
Open your phone's browser and enter the URL into the browser's address. If you received a link via text message, some phones allow you to open the text message link in your phone's browser. If you are having trouble starting your phone's browser or navigating to the URL, consult your phone's user guide or your carrier.
Is my phone able to access mobile web applications?  Top
Mobile web access can differ based on your carrier and phone model. Most carriers will charge an additional monthly fee for access to mobile web applications. To find out if your phone and service support mobile web applications, please consult with your carrier.
I am having trouble getting connected to the web on my cell phone. What should I do?  Top
Your service plan may not include access to mobile web applications. Also, your phone's model may not be capable of browsing mobile web applications. To find out why you are not able to connect, please contact your carrier.
I am having trouble accessing my mobile web application. What should I do?  Top
It may be that your phone or service are not enabled to access mobile web applications and you need to contact your carrier. If you know that your phone is web-enabled, follow these steps:
  1. Open your phone's web browser.
  2. Go to the URL: http://mobile.inetsgi.com/mb.aspx
  3. Click the "Send Settings" link.
  4. Contact support to let them know about the issue. When you do so, please provide the following information: phone manufacturer and model, carrier, settings information (from the http://mobile.inetsgi.com/mb.aspx page).
